The first and only marine national park in the British Virgin Islands, Rhone National Marine Park represents a major opportunity for scuba divers. The park centers around the wreck of the HMS Rhone, a mail ship that sunk during a hurricane in 1867. Abundant marine life, historical interest, and several intact sections of the ship make diving here a memorable experience. Several diving operators run daily excursions to the park, letting you snorkel or plunge deep below the surface. Look for the "lucky porthole" whose glass survived the shipwreck intact.
