Museum of Salt showcases techniques of salt collection through solar evaporation, presented through stories and live demonstrations. Built alongside Pomorie Lake, the museum has a 760 hectare (1,880 acre) saline plot in its yard. Here you can learn about the ancient technologies of salt extraction, observe tools and equipment used during the process, and view maps and old photographs from the site. There were Romans and Greeks here. Methods of ancient mining are shown both in the museum and right next to the lake, in a specially designated reservoir. They tell us interesting, in Russian. A very well kept clean museum, most if the displays are in English. Staff are very welcoming and tgere is an area where you can have a sulphur bath.
Nothing about the salt. Its a museum for few species of birds. You have 4 leva entrance tax, for one flour of pictures. Not a bad place but absolutely nothing special. Very small parking spot.
