A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Barrio Santa Cruz and Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla). Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Malanga and Mercadillo del Jueves. There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Real Alcazar, explore the galleries of Seville Museum of Fine Arts, pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Wabisabi Shop & Gallery, and look for gifts at Productos de la Sierra.

Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
On the 14th (Fri), make a trip to Historic Centre of Cordoba, stop by Meryan - Cordovan Leather, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, and finally step into the grandiose world of Castillo de Almodovar del Rio. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of La Casa Andalusí, pause for some serene contemplation at Capilla Mudejar de San Bartolome, then take a stroll through Jewish Quarter (Juderia), then steep yourself in history at Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and finally don't miss a visit to Barrio de la Villa.

Take a train from Seville to Cordoba in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 31°C in October, and nighttime lows around 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) to allow time to take a train to Malaga.

Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Alcazaba and Balcon de Europa. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Marbella Old Quarter and Castillo de Gibralfaro. Venture out of the city with trips to Nerja (Nerja Quad Tours & Fundación Cueva de Nerja) and Ronda (Wine Tours & Tastings, ArtesamArt, & more). The adventure continues: make a trip to Puerto de Malaga and contemplate the long history of Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga.

You can take a train from Cordoba to Malaga in an hour. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Cordoba in October, plan for slightly colder days in Malaga, with highs around 28°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Wed) early enough to drive to Granada.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.

You can drive from Malaga to Granada in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. Traveling from Malaga in October, plan for slightly colder nights in Granada, with lows around 14°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
