Sigatoka— 5 nights
Located at the western end of Coral Coast, with its long sheltered beaches and popular surf spots, Sigatoka is best known for its immediate surroundings than for the town itself.Your inner history buff will appreciate Tavuni Hill Fort and Vatukarasa Village. Head to Lawai Pottery Village and Baravi Handcraftsfor some retail therapy. Explore Sigatoka's surroundings by going to Vuda Point Marina Fiji (in Lautoka), Port Denarau Marina (in Denarau Island) and Paradise Beach (in Pacific Harbour). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Natadola Beach, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and play a few rounds at Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.

Auckland, New Zealand to Sigatoka is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of bus and flight. Expect much hotter weather when traveling from Auckland in August: highs in Sigatoka hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
