Krabi Town

Krabi Town takes you away from the bustle of coastal beach resorts in this region.
Step out of the city life by going to Railay Beach and PhraNang Cave Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Phang Nga Bay. and Nopparat Thara Beach. There's lots more to do: get great views at Railay View Point, step off the mainland to explore Poda Island, and stop by Krabi Exotic Decor.

Fly from Chiang Mai to Krabi Town in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, daytime highs in Krabi Town are 36°C, while nighttime lows are 27°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Karon.

Karon, Phuket

Quieter than nearby Patong Beach, the resort town of Karon offers a wide stretch of golden sand, which attracts mostly couples and families.
Take a break from the city and head to Patong Beach and Nai Harn Beach. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Gibbon Rehabilitation Project (GRP) and Promthep Cape. There's lots more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, take some stellar pictures from Karon View Point, tour the pleasant surroundings at Freedom Beach, and stop by Niphon's Rich Collection.
