The multicultural Cluj-Napoca is the capital of the historic region of Transylvania.
For shopping fun, head to Iulius Mall Cluj or Oranjerie. Escape the urban bustle at Cheile Turzii - Turda Gorge and Hoia Baciu Forest. Step out of Cluj-Napoca to go to Turda and see Salina Turda, which is approximately 40 minutes away. The adventure continues: explore the striking landscape at Cetatuia Hill, appreciate the extensive heritage of Museum Square, take in the dramatic scenery at Bridal Veil Falls, and trek along TransyBike - Day Tours.

Oradea the capital city of Bihor County and Crișana region, is one of the important centers of economic, social and cultural development in the western part of Romania, retaining these characteristics throughout history. Bring the kids along to Apuseni Natural Park and Oradea Zoo. Step out of the city life by going to Bear's Cave and Ultimate High. Go for a jaunt from Oradea to Rosia to see Peştera cu cristale din mina Farcu about 1h 25 min away. There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Lotus Center, admire the striking features of Moon Church (Biserica cu Luna), cool off at Apollo-Felix Waterpark, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Roman-Catholic Cathedral.
