Admire the imposing, well-preserved ramparts of Citadelle et Palais El Mechouar, a 800-year-old castle built by Zianides kings. The citadel features a large mosque with a tall minaret, which dominates the area providing a panoramic view over the nearby city. Once inside, walk through the walled-off garden, past a cross-shaped fountain and a reconstructed amphitheater. The palace interior walls, ceilings, doorways, and columns boast some fine examples of the Arabic stucco and tile works, all have been recently restored. It been nice to visit the place as i seen a Beautiful Moroccan Architecture tiles in the place. 😊and some few things waht to shear, the food was.disgusting , the you dont feel safe in the country..... more
