Museum is still closed, due to Covid. Not necessary because everything is actually open again. Too bad because I think it's a nice museum to visit.

Had a visit to House of Sampoerna in Feb 2020. No admission fee was charged. The tour guide introduced the history of Sampoerna in details, and sometimes the use of media in introduction was English, which was friendly to non-Indonesian speaking visitors. A tour in bus (also free of charge) was provided, please make sure you know the time to hop in the bus, if the passengers in the bus are full, you have to wait for the next bus. Souvenirs with Sampoerna logo are available, I bought a cute cotton handbag which figured a mommy lion plays with a baby lion.

For those wondering if the museum is really closed, it is definitely closed. We tried asking if we could go in for a photo but were turned away. I’m sure it’s an interesting museum so hopefully it reopens soon.
