  • Date of Visit: January 2020 The Grand Palace is one of the most popular and must-see tourist attractions in Thailand. Thus, expect the place to be jam-packed with fellow tourists. Don't forget to bring your patience, a water bottle, an umbrella (especially if you're going to visit at noon), and of course, your pants! You won't be allowed to enter if you're wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts. Fortunately, there's a lot of clothing rental shops just outside the place. The entrance to the Grand Palace's whole establishment/grounds is actually free. However, if you want to go inside and see what the Palace has to offer, prepare to shell out 500 baht. My family and I just visited to see the actual architecture of the buildings as it perfectly showed the Thai culture and grandeur. We enjoyed exploring the magnificent sights and taking pictures! Be very patient, though, as there are also a lot of other people taking their own photographs.
  • The most gorgeous palace in Bangkok. Nothing more to say about architecture. Beautiful and mind blowing. A palace that came right out of the mythological books. However, most of the palace was closed for entrance. I'm not sure if Indians would enjoy it as much since we are quite used to see similar kind of religious architectures. Nevertheless, it's a must visit in Bangkok if you enjoy mythology.
