On the 13th (Sat), hike along Cup and Saucer Hiking Trail, then browse the exhibits of Perivale Gallery, and then identify plant and animal life at Misery Bay Provincial Nature Reserve. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the natural beauty at Maja's Garden Bistro and then admire the sheer force of Bridal Veil Falls.

Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Toronto in August: highs in Manitoulin Island hover around 24°C, while lows dip to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 14th (Sun) to allow time for the car ride back home.
