Rome — 2 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Visit Colosseum and Piazza Navona for their historical value. Pantheon and Vatican Museums are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, browse the eclectic array of goods at Porta Portese, and stop by Elena Kihlman Designer Concept Store.

Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In December in Rome, expect temperatures between 16°C during the day and 4°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
