Surrounded by mountain ranges and boasting a well-preserved city center, Salzburg melds culture and history.Get some cultural insight at Fortress Hohensalzburg and Franziskanerkirche. Visiting Gollinger Wasserfall and Ramsau Beach will get you outdoors. There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Schloss Hellbrunn, see the interesting displays at Haus der Natur, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Peter's Abbey (Stift St. Peter), and take in nature's colorful creations at Mirabell Palace.
