Experience small-town Bali in Ubud, an atmospheric town surrounded by small settlements, farms, and rice paddies.

You'll get in some beach time at Kuta Beach - Bali and Jimbaran Bay. Step out of the city life by going to Mason Elephant Park and USS Liberty Shipwreck. Explore Ubud's surroundings by going to Jimbaran Hills Activity Valley (in Jimbaran) and Waterbom Bali (in Kuta). There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Tirta Empul Temple, relax and rejuvenate at Ubud Yoga House, and take in nature's colorful creations at Taman Tirtagangga.

If you are flying in from Thailand, the closest major aiports are Ngurah Rai (Bali) International Airport and Lombok International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in August, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
