Monselice — 5 nights

"Monselice is the most picturesque town I have seen in Italy. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Monselice: Monte Grappa (in Crespano del Grappa), Cantina Pretto Lidio (in Barbarano Vicentino) and Road of 52 Tunnels (in Valli del Pasubio). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Cini Monselice, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Parco Natura Viva, do a tasting at Cantina San Gregorio, and get engrossed in the history at La Cinta Muraria - Camminamento di Ronda.
For traveler tips, reviews, ratings, and other tourist information, refer to the Monselice day trip site.
Jerusalem, Israel to Monselice is an approximately 9-hour combination of car and flight. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time (IST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Jerusalem in September, with highs in Monselice at 25°C and lows at 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) so you can travel back home.

Province of Padua travel guide
Padua is a city and comune in Veneto, northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Padua and the economic and communications hub of the area. Padua's population is 214,000. The city is sometimes included, with Venice (Italian Venezia) and Treviso, in the Padua-Treviso-Venice Metropolitan Area, which has a population of c. 1,600,000.Padua stands on the Bacchiglione River, 40km west of Venice and 29km southeast of Vicenza. The Brenta River, which once ran through the city, still touches the northern districts. Its agricultural setting is the Venetian Plain (Pianura Veneta). To the city's south west lies the Euganaean Hills, praised by Lucan and Martial, Petrarch, Ugo Foscolo, and Shelley. It hosts the University of Padua, founded in 1222, where Galileo Galilei was a lecturer. The city is picturesque, with a dense network of arcaded streets opening into large communal piazze, and many bridges crossing the various branches of the Bacchiglione, which once surrounded the ancient walls like a moat.
